Three narrow rectangular structures and a small hut lie between the heads of two small burn gullies to the NW of Druim na Tire. The structures are all defined by parallel rows of boulders and are associated with orthostatic walls. These walls appear to form large rectangular enclosures and probably belong to an earlier field-system.
Two of the structures (NG 2204 0528 and NG 2203 0528 respectively) lie end-to-end against the S side of a wall marking the lower edge of a terrace; they are of similar size, measuring internally 6m from E to W by 0.9m and 6.2m from NW to SE by 1.1m. The third structure (NG 2195 0523) lies about 95m to the SW against the W side of a wall that descends from the back of the terrace but disappears to the NW in an area of bog; it measures 5.2m from NW to SE by 1m.
The hut (NG 2199 0522) is situated at the back of the terrace and is formed by a semi-circular arrangement of large boulders set against the foot of a crag; it measures 2.8m from N to S by 2m.
(Canna 601-4).
Visited by RCAHMS (ARG), 4 April 1995.
