A circular mound, measuring 7m in diameter and 0.8m in height, lies on the leading edge of a terrace 80m to the SW of the fank at Garrisdale. Two large boulders are visible on the SE, but several more appear to have been removed on the W, and it has been extensively damaged by rabbit burrowing. Traces of an L-shaped bank lie to the W and further stretches of stony banks link the crags which form the edge of the terrace to the N; the latter are undoubtedly part of the field enclosures situated on the terrace below.
(Canna 561).
Visited by RCAHMS (IF, ARG), 5 April 1995.
