This oval grass-grown mound is situated on sloping ground and measures 9.5m from ESE to WNW by 8.8m and 0.6m in height; with the exception of its N arc, it is defined by a kerb of large boulders. A small subrectangular hut, measuring 3.7m by 2.4m overall, overlies the NE quadrant of the mound, while at the foot of the mound on the W, there is a narrow subrectangular structure. This measures 6.9m from E to W by 1.2m within parallel rows of small boulders. An arc of similar stones drops downslope to the W, and an orthostatic wall extends in a curve to the NE for a distance of 25m, until it meets the rocky edge of an overlooking terrace. On the terrace, a string of boulders continue the line of the wall to the ENE.
About 50m to the WSW of the mound, at the foot of a crag, there lies another subrectangular structure, measuring 4.2m from NW to SE by 3.3m overall; this too has a row of boulders extending in an arc around its SW side.
(Canna 553, 556-8).
Visited by RCAHMS (IF, ARG), 4 April 1995.
