Oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 1995) show the remains of the farmstead of Clasbuithe, approximately 900m SSW of Lybster Mains. It is depicted as roofed with a small enclosure on the N side, on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxxiv), and it is shown as unroofed on the current edition of the 1:10000 map sheet (1977).
