There are at least two huts, and possibly two others, between the Allt Cuil na Caillich and the Allt Bruthach an Easain (two burns at the head of the Allt a' Chaorainn) immediately above their confluence. The larger hut (KING95 53; NH 6920 0476) measures 5.6m from NNW to SSE by 2.8m transversely within a rubble wall 0.8m in thickness and up to 0.4m in height. There is a small drystone enclosure immediately to the N, and what is either a hut or a small pen on the S; set into a hollow, the latter measures 2.2m by 1.9m internally (KING95 65). About 35m to the NNW of the first hut there is another, measuring 4.8m from NNW to SSE by 2.3m within a stony bank 0.6m in thickness and 0.3m in height (KING95 52), and to the SSW of that there may be the slight remains another one. The first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet lxxxvi) depicts the largest hut (KING95 53) as a roofless structure.
