This hut-circle (KING95 289, NH 6988 0028) is levelled into an S-facing hillside to the NE of Lurg township (NH60SE 1.01). It measures 9.5m in diameter within an externally-faced stony bank spread to 1.6m in thickness. The entrance, which is on the S, is flanked by boulders.
Three discrete groups of small cairns are visible on the hillside to the N and NE of the township. The first, to the S of the hut-circle, comprises about eight small cairns, measuring up to 4m in diameter and 0.3m in height (KING95 509, NH 6987 0028). The second (KING95 508, NH 6976 0033), which lies to the NW of the hut-circle, consists of about twenty cairns measuring up to 6m in diameter and 0.4m in height. The third group (KING95 507, NH 6964 0038) numbers at least twenty small cairns, measuring up to 5m in diameter and 0.4m in height, and several linear clearance heaps up to 10m in length. To the W of this group there are three peat-covered mounds (NH 6953 0037) which may be further small cairns.
