The faced-rubble footings of two rectangular buildings are situated on heather- and bracken-covered ridges on the E bank of the Allt a' Chaorainn. The S building (KING95 789, NH 6918 0010) measures 7.1m from N to S by 3.2m transversely internally and overlies the fragmentary footings of an earlier building which extend for 9.3m to the S. The second building (KING95 813, NH 6919 0014) measures internally 8.4m from WNW to ESE by 3.1m transversely. A field bank runs to the Allt a' Chaorainn from just to the E of the building. The ridges of well-drained ground to the S of the buildings have been cultivated, with heaps of clearance lying along the edges of boggy and rocky ground (see also NN 69NE 15).
