This burnt mound, which is situated in a boggy sump on the heather-covered, SW slope of Creag Bheag, comprises two discrete mounds lying NW and SE respectively of a shallow hollow. Overall, the burnt mound measures 8.6m from NW to SE by 5.6m transversely and stands 0.5m in height. There are traces of a stone trough in the hollow, defined by an edge of stones, and measuring 2m from NE to SW by 1m transversely. Upcast from rabbit burrows has revealed that the mounds are composed of fractured stones and charcoal.
