At least twelve subrectangular shieling-huts are situated along the banks of an unnamed burn draining into the Allt Mor from the W. The footings of four of the huts (KING95 549, 680-1, 685) are entirely of turf, while the others are of turf-and-stone or entirely stone. The huts range from 3m by 1.7m to 7.7m by 2.4m internally. Middens lie outside the entrances of four of the huts (KING95 546, 680, 682, 685). What may be an earlier building is overlain by one of the huts (KING95 682).
