There are at least nine huts and at least three small pens on grassy slopes on the N side of the Uisge Dubh, scattered across an area measuring about 250m from E to W by 60m transversely. Most of the huts are rectangular or subrectangular, although two (KING95 8 and 10) are oval, and they measure from 2.3m to 6m in length and from 1.8m to 2.6m in breadth within rubble walls about 0.6m in thickness and up to 0.6m in height. One hut (KING95 6) differs from the others in having walls of turf and stone. The pens are no more than low-walled enclosures built against outcrops or amongst spreads of scree.
