NN69NE 32 6980 9980 and 6983 9973

On the haughland on the S bank of the river Calder, NE of Creagan Beag, there is a possible farmstead comprising two buildings and a subrectangular enclosure and there is a third building in boggy birch scrub 70m to the SE at NN 6983 9973. The buildings of the possible farmstead are attached to the SW and SE corners of the enclosure; only fragmentary remains survive of the SW building, but the other one is better preserved, measuring 9.6m from ESE to WNW by 3.4m within a rubble wall 0.7m in thickness. It has an entrance in the SSW side and the interior has been divided into two compartments (KING95 90). The building in the scrub to the SE (KING95 89) measures 7.2m by 2.4m within a wall reduced to a stony bank 1.1m thick. None of these structures are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet ci).
