Full Description
A hut-circle is situated in heather-grown ground on the S edge of a terrace cut by the River Calder and is enclosed in a field that is possibly associated with a farmstead (NN69NE 30) . It measures 10.2m in diameter within a stone-faced bank, 1.5m in thickness and 0.3m in height. The entrance is probably on the E, and a second gap in the bank on the SE is probably the result of recent disturbance. The surrounding field measures about 100m from E to W by about 90m transversely within an earthen bank.
