Full Description
A cottage at Banavie. It is shown with a yard and rear garden on the OS 1st Edition map. <1>
The house was visited by C Dagg during a walkover survey in 2001 in advance of a proposed new water man between Banavie Service Reservoir and Dalnevie. Site 7: Derelict Cottage at NN 1213 7827. This cottage has become derelict within the past few decades and apart from broken windows is in a reasonable state. It will not itself be affected by the present project, and no associated features were located along the proposed route of the pipline. <2>
Photographs of the exterior of the building were taken by J Bilton in 2017 in support of a planning application for the demolition of the cottage and erection of a replacement dwellinghouse. <3>
Planning permisison was granted and the cottage has since been demolished.
