A hut and a grass-grown mound lie about 5m apart on the line of an old field-wall to the ESE of Buaile nan Gabhar. The hut is subrectangular, measuring 2m from NW to SE by 1.5m within a wall spread up to 1m in thickness and 0.3m in height, and it has an entrance on the NE (NG 2419 0597). To either side, there is a gap in the field-wall suggesting that the hut has been constructed with stones robbed from the wall and is therefore of later date. The mound, which contains a number of boulders, lies to the S and measures 4m from N to S by 3m and 0.4m in height; it appears to be overlain by the field-wall on the S.
Some 40m to the E, on a low ridge of outcrop to the N of a plot of lazy-bed cultivation (NG20NW 131.03), there is a subrectangular pen measuring 4m from NE to SW by 2.5m (NG 2424 0596); it has been obscured by later field clearance.
