Full Description
Former salmon netting station, still worked in the 1980s by Billy MacRae of Scoraig, now resident in Ullapool. Two buildings, of which the older is a stone-built cottage, built into the bank with two windows to the south and a door in the east gable. Cruck-framed with a sod roof; the roof collapsed in the 1980s but the crucks are still in place. Latterly used as an ice house.
The more recent bothy was of tarred wood, with a central stone gable allowing for a fireplace in both rooms, and a concrete slab floor. Still habitable in the 1980s, this has now deteriorated to only part of the stone central gable
