These alleged cairns, situated in a wood, are associated with old field walls and depopulation, and are therefore probably stone clearance heaps.
Revised at 1/2500
Only two of these clearance heaps were seen on a densely reafforested westerly slope, an ideal situation for settlement. No trace of depopulation or old field walls.
