Full Description
One rectilinear building and one smaller square building are present on the current Landmark mapping. Further building remains including houses, dykes, enclosures and a kiln have been identified prior to FC felling operations by Eddie Fraser and Kate Tuer (FC). The site lies within mature woodland: trees have been planted across the features but there does not appear to have been any major plough damage. The site is not depicted on the first edition OS map and may pre-date settlement NH52NE0040 that lies to the south-west. It is hoped that - when felling is completed - a survey of the structural remains will be undertaken.
