Full Description
NG25NE 16.34 27 56.
There are several areas of lazy-bed or spade-dug cultivation ridges in Lusta township, generally around the fringes rather than in the crofts. These are at the following locations:
1. NG 2740 5640
To the N of the Lusta Burn and E of the crofts is an area of 0.5 hectares delimited by a bank.
2. NG 2730 5630
To the S of the Lusta Burn, both inside and outside the E end of the crofts is an area of 2 hectares delimited by banks.
3. NG 2715 5660
Within a delimiting bank to the N of Lusta Burn, to the E of the crofts, is an area of about 3 hectares.
4. NG 2714 5570
To the S of the crofts on the slope below Cnoc a' Chrochaire is an area of 0.5 hectares, not delimited by a bank.
5. NG 2710 5525
A small patch of ridges on the hill-slope to the E of the Allt a' Chaim of 0.5 hectares.
