Full Description
The pipers stone is located on the hillside overlooking the Haugh of Cromdale. The battle was fought on 1st May 1690 and oral tradtion states that a piper stood here and played to rally the deflated Jacobite forces. Site visited and photographed by John Halliday, 30/09/03. Highland Archaeology Challenge.
