Full Description
The remains of an old forest are eroding out the Castletown end of the beach. Remains of wood is visible (disturbed by Farice Cable line). Possible this area was wooded prior to the Mesolithic Tsunami, conditions after may have led to inundation and death of trees - HAW 7/2003
