Full Description
On the opposite side of the road to the visitor cente is a large mound. According to Paul Humphreys who monitors its condition, very small pieces of pottery are eroding out of this. Another nearby mound was bulldozed to make the road corner safer. This mound's removal was the one that led to reports of finds on the beach opposite. - HAW 7/2003
