Full Description
Ist Ed OS shows a cluster of buildings around the broch. On NW L shaped building - this is now a range of outbuildings,stone with currugated roofing, possibly extended further to E now. 2 buildings E of the broch, one L shaped, 1 rectangular, these are now gone. Another square feature to the SW of the broch will lie in the garden area. The current farm house is not depicted.
NB there may be a desc of the settlement development in one of the published reports on the broch - check - HAW 7/2003
