Full Description

NG26SW 11.12 2318 6220.

There are two hut-circles situated on a terrace due W of one of the cairns erected by the Clan Macleod.
The eastermost hut-circle (NG 2318 6222, WAT90 610) is situated on a lazy-bed covered terrace, and is itself overlain by lazy-beds, visible as a slight bank with intermittent facing-stones under the lazy-beds.
On the SE of the hut-circle is what may be an associated enclosure defined by boulders protruding from the lazy-beds. The hut-circle measures 11.5m in diameter over a bank up to 2m thick and 0.3m in height.
The westernmost hut-circle (NG 2316 6218, WAT90 611), situated at the back of a lower terrace below a small rock outcrop, is rather more substantial, measuring 13m in diameter over a bank 2.7m thick and 0.8m in height. Intermittent facing-stones are visible and a rectangular structure may have been inserted into the interior, which has also been supplemented by clearance. Lazy-beds overlie the ENE side of the hut-circle.
