Full Description
AP Gourlay 01.08.86 - ref 86/082/005 - shows cropmarks in this area. One set is undoubtedly some of the woodland belt that surrounded the castle policy (NH76NW0197) (now gone). Another feature shows the line of a path shown on 1st ed OS, although the AP appears to show features/buildings beside this as well. The rest may be natural geology - Photo stored with NH66NE0026 HAW 12/2002
