Full Description
Millhill House marked on 1st ed to N of road and west of Burn. Millhill name dervived undoubtedly from mill that once stood in this area. The House is poss too far from the stream & other structures to be directly associated with the mill (unless gentrification by millowner). House with large garden to E, prob in larger woodland policy. By 2nd ed OS house has two more buildings to the N and a large set of "kennels" N of these in the wood. - HAW 11/2002
