Full Description
Corres from Mr Geo Watson regarding a possible cairn adjacent to, and on the W side of the road. " the site of a large grassy mound to the W of the village of Bower. At some time in the past the side of the mound nearest the road has been removed revealing the top of one orthostat & the end of horizontal slab, poss a lintel. Under the grass covering this circular mound apears to be composed of stone. There are no depressions on the top, so the chamber may still be intact.
