Full Description

This monument has been assessed by Historic Scotland as being of national importance and worthy of scheduling. The monument is described as an anti-landing obstacle, built as a response to the threat of German invasion in 1940. It stretches intermittently for 11km along Nairn East Beach and Culbin Sands, immediately to the north and west of Culbin Forest. <2>
