Concrete WWII pillbox. Heavy pillbox for anti-tank and machine guns. Covers the main road approaching the bridge from the south east. This pillbox has a turnbull mounting. Photos in J A Guy, 20th Century Defences, (report nos. 1, 8 & 11)
