Full Description
Recessed platform. A recessed platform with a very prominent built up front in stone, 1.5m high. Clear recess, 6.7m diam. Alt. 170m. Steep fall towards the Loch. Magnificant view over Loch Moidart. Difficult to escape the conclusion that the site was chosen for its defendable and proximity to grazing above. Path to burn, maze of fallen boulders above. Below a prominent cypress tree.
