Full Description
The Shepherd's Well is marked by a flat stone and is located approx. a half mile behind The Old Pier House.
Site Visit - Bob Shepherd and Richard Duncan, 21st Sept 1999. The landowner stated that several years ago, the course of the underground stream supplying the well was diverted. Consequently, the well is now dry. The stream now surfaces under the burn.
