Full Description
Scarf ring found during preparation work upon an old cottage floor - the floor being dug out in order that a concrete floor be laid.
It was found some 12-18" below the top of the floor level on 16 Nov. 1994. The ring was found to be made of brass, with a high nickel content. Not thought to be of early date. Late 19th c.
