Full Description
Built c1869/70. Supplied gas for lighting mansion (now Glengarry Castle Hotel). Stone built on flat land close to river bank. External measurements c 33 feet by 15 feet. Height to ridge c 20 feet. Corrugated iron roof. 2 rooms of unequal size. Larger has 2 wide doors in opposite walls. Smaller room only one. Evidence of smoke blackening in corner of larger room. Main aspect to W.
