Full Description
On a raised knoll to the NE of the Balancoil road, stands a stone marker with bears the inscription 'Kilcalmkill 1797-1798'. The circumstances behind the erection of the stone is not known but it is locally told that their may have been some improvement to the road at this location and this was when the stone was erected?.
