Full Description

There does seem to have been some human activity here but whether it is a broch or not will need further investigation. It does not seem like a natural shelf. Dimensions :- c27.5m S/N, C19.8M W/E approx. Funnel shaped entrance c11.7m deep, inner width 1.6m, outer 6.7m. Entrance faces SE. Covered in grass and bracken, extensively robbed of stone. The field is known locally as the broch field.
