Full Description
At this location between what is now Capaldi's Ice-Cream Shop and the Fountain Cafe is a wall which was once the back wall of a garden, it is now the back wall of a car-park. In this wall are the remains of three beeboles ( niches to house straw bee-skeps), which were built into the structure of the wall.
The beeboles were in dis-repair in May 98 and have since been restored by money raised by the Community Council, co-ordinated by W.Gunn, local Brora resident. The three bee-boles have been secured with protective coverings and one has a bee-skep inside and illumination for visitors.
