Full Description

Raasay Survey 2000. Site 23: About 50m to the west of feature 22:8 a setting of stones, averaging 0.25m square, encloses a horseshoe shaped area 1.50m by 1.80m around a spring. The well is now largely blocked with vegetation. It is sited in an extensive area of gently sloping ground forming a number of natural terraces, which contain many patches of field clearance cairns and banks. <1>
