Full Description
Raasay Survey 2000. Site 18: A substantial stone boundary wall runs northwest-southeast along the west flank of Sithean Mor. Near its western end as it drops down towards Rubha Crion, the valley opens out slightly. About 12m west of the wall at this point is a small horseshoe shaped stone building built of large stones with the west side revetted into the hillside. With the exception of the larger boulders, the walls appear to be double skinned, standing to 1.10m on the west and 0.80m on the east. The entrance is on the northwest and there are no internal features. A cluster of large boulders outside and to the north gives the impression of the remains of a very small (0.60m x 0.70m) ancillary structure. <1>
