This farmstead is situated on the NE fringe of the cultivated lands of Glenbanchor township (NN69NE 3.00), immediately N of a conifer plantation. It comprises three buildings arranged around the NW, NE and SE sides of a square. The buildings range in size from 10.7m to 20.6m in length by between 4.3m and 4.7m in breadth over faced-rubble walls, about 0.8m thick and up to 0.6m high. The entrances are in one side and the two buildings on the NW and SE are sub-divided in two. A two-compartment enclosure on the SW is defined by earthen banks. The farmstead is depicted as unroofed on the 1st edition OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet ci).
