This cairn is situated on a slight rise on the valley floor to the N of the confluence of the Rivers Calder and Spey. It measures 13m in diameter and 1.2m in height and is composed of rounded cobbles and earth. A denuded plantation bank encloses the rise, on which there are five Scots pines and the stumps of others, remnants of a plantation shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet ci).
