The remains of this farmstead, comprising three buildings and an enclosure, are situated on the haughland of the River Calder, opposite Milton of Banchor. The largest building (KING95 86) measures 11.1m from N to S by 3m transversely within walls 0.8m in thickness and up to 0.5m in height; it has an entrance on the E. Immediately to the N there is a second building (KING95 87), measuring internally 4.7m from N to S by 2.3m transversely. The third building (KING95 88), which measures internally 5m by 2.6m, stands to the E, at the NE end of a rectangular enclosure.
A description of the davoch of Bailidmore by George Brown, in a survey of the Gordon estates on the N side of the River Spey carried out in 1771, lists 'haugh ground called the Loup', which may be a reference to this site (SRO CR8/195; see also NN69NE 7). The site is named 'Luib' on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet ci), which depicts all three buildings roofed. By the 2nd edition of that map (Inverness-shire 1903, sheet ci) the E building (KING95 88) was roofless.
