A possible grass-grown burnt mound is situated some 100m NE of the abandoned farmstead of Minera, about 10m S of the fence bounding the public road. The adjacent burn has now been recut as a ditch. Oval on plan, with shallow hollows in its SW side and its centre, the mound measures 10.1m from N to S by 8.7m transversely and stands up to 0.6m in height. No evidence of burnt stone could be seen at the date of visit. A possible field bank runs on to the S side of the mound.
