Full Description
Well-preserved corn-drying kiln at NW corner of another enclosure, most of which was under bracken and not investigated. <1>
A walkover survey and desk-based assessment was undertaken by A Coombs at Dalnamein for the Sutherland Longhouse Project, a community engagement project hosted by Historylinks Museum, Dornoch in 2000.
Site 3: A corn kiln built into the head dyke. The bowl survives as a shallow stone lined bowl and the south gable is a low stone wall c.0.25m high. <2>
