A farmstead comprising two ranges of roofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Elginshire, 1876, sheet xxxiii). Further roofed buildings are shown some 350m to the E, (NJ 0951 2654) and c.200m to the S. The farmstead is depicted as unroofed on the current (chart) edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
