Full Description

A rapid pre-afforestation survey by Headland Archaeology Ltd, was undertaken in 1997 at Cona Chreag on the Stoer Common Grazings, near Lochinver.

Site 6; Two stone pillars, situated at head of a small natural bay on the northeast side of Loch an Eich Uidhir, were noted by Headland Archaeology during a pre-afforestation survey. Both pillars have stone-chocked sockets. North pillar is roughly 1.2m long by 0.4m wide and 0.2m thick and is erect. south pillar is roughly 0.8m long by 0.2m by 0.2m but has fallen. The stones may represent fishing-marks. <1>
