There is a farmstead, comprising one building and a corn-drying kiln, in heather-covered ground on the side of a low knoll on the N side of Loch Preas nan Sgriathanach. The building measures 10.5m from WNW to ESE by 2.6m transversely within turf walls 0.6m thick and 0.3m high. The NNE side wall is noticeably bowed on plan. There is an entrance on the SSW, on which side there is also an outshot or wing, poorly preserved and with a missing end, but measuring about 7m by 2.5m. The kiln is set into the slope below the building. It has a bowl 1.5m in diameter and now 0.5m deep, opening towards the NNE into a barn which measures 3.2m in length and 2.6m in breadth within a turf wall 0.8m thick. The barn has an entrance at the N end of the ESE side.
