This lade diverts water from a tributary of the Torbreck Burn to the Allt na Luibe, a tributary of the Abhainn Leataidh. It starts about 450m S of Loch Preas nan Sgiathanch and runs generally SW for about 1.2km, meeting the Allt na Luibe at Leathad an Raidhrich, about 850m above its confluence with the Leataidh. Its NE end is depicted on a plan of Langwell, possibly by David Aitken and drawn up ca.1770 (National Library of Scotland 10225/136-8), on which it is described as 'A lead for the miln of Blarich' (Blarich NC 6929 0420).
