This partly eroded, pear-shaped burnt mound, which is situated on the NE bank of an unnamed tributary of the Torbreck Burn, measures 11.4m from NW to SE by 6m transversely and 0.8m in height. Black soil and cracked stones are exposed in the stream bank and a silver birch tree is growing on the SW side of the mound
