Full Description
NC70SW 151 7192 0384
What may be the remains of a rectangular building are situated on a small terrace to the NW of the public road at the base of the steep slopes at the SW end of Creag na Croiche. The site has been robbed and was very overgrown at the date of visit but the building may have been aligned from ENE to WSW. Nothing is shown on both the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland Sheet CIV, 1879 and 1907) and the structure may be relatively recent in date. The fragmentary remains of what may have been an enclosure, possibly a garden, lie to the SSE of the building.
