What may be a hut-circle is levelled into the tail end of a ridge in a patch of burnt-off heather between the Grumby Burn and a tributary. The platform measures 8m in diameter with a bank around the E side which measures up to 2.5m in thickness and 0.4m in height. A gap in the bank on SSE is flanked by a large natural boulder and may have been the entrance.
