This C-shaped bloomery mound is situated on the edge of a boggy depression within the semi-improved fields of Inchomnie. It measures 7.3m from E to W by 3.7m transversely and 0.3m in height, opening out to the S. Slag and granular ferric material was visible in rabbit burrows in the mound. An upright stone and a short length of stony bank to the SE may have formed part of a wasted structure. There is a scatter of small cairns (see NC 70NW 11) on the drier ground around the bloomery mound.
